Knauf Insulation restructures Heraklith Wood Wool business in the Netherlands

Oosterhout to become a central sales hub for Benelux, Middle East and UK

Knauf Insulation is announcing the reorganisation of its Heraklith® Wood Wool business, transforming its site in Oosterhout into a commercial hub for sales in the Benelux, Middle East and UK.  Production at the site will be switched to factories in Simbach (Germany), Zalaegerszeg (Hungary) and La Côte (France).

The new sales hub will offer a complete range of Heraklith® Wood Wool panels which are among the world’s most popular and effective boards for thermal insulation and acoustic sound absorption for commercial, industrial and residential properties.

The reorganisation, which coincides with Heraklith’s 110th anniversary in 2018, is being made as part of a streamlining of Heraklith’s growing global wood wool business and improvements to customer service and delivery.

This change will allow the company to provide customers with improved levels of service and better stock availability in the region.  The consolidation of production will also mean Knauf Insulation can take full advantage of the investments that have been made in advanced technology and in the programme of continuous product improvement.
